Back when he was running the company day-to-day, Bill Ford, Jr. made headlines by jumping on the “green” bandwagon. At the time, he promised substantial increases in fuel economy for SUVs. Ford later backed out on that promise. Now, Ford and his company have done it again. And, this time, it isn't clear that it's Bill Ford's fault. The promise was that Ford would build 250,000 hybrid vehicles. Well, forget that. Bill Ford has now announced that the company's scraping that plan, too. (...)

Hyundai Genesis luxury sedan will be advertise in National Football League's Super Bowl. Hyundai will present two 30-second spots during the third and fourth quarters. Both ads will be aired on the game broadcast Sunday, February 3, 2008. General Motors will unveil at the Chicago Auto Show the Hummer H3T, a pick-up truck based on the popular H3. The Michigan State Police, perhaps mournfully, report that they have no Corvette ZR1 squad car, that - as the spokesperson put it to Trend News - "I think Lutz was just having fun." It all goes back to a GM FastLane blog that Lutz authored, one that depicted a blue ZR1 with a light bar and a Michigan State Police shield prominently displayed on the door. No we do not like cops around here! But we made a news about this, because you might want to know that now is much more easier for them to catch you speeding! That's if you are not driving with more than 2000 mph, in this case the SpeedLaser B can't detect you! The one making life for cops easier and a hell for drivers is Laser Atlanta.
