Maybach coming to an end?


After years of intense struggling, the ultra-exclusive Maybach luxury brand which belongs to Daimler AG concern has almost got to an end. With just 146 units sold last year and apparently no plan to replace the aging Maybach, the luxury division of Mercedes is dying slowly. Listening to Dieter Zetsche, Daimler's affable CEO looks like neither the new variant, the Landaulet will not budge the needle on sales. Saleen launches SMS Limited supercar brand


Steeve Saleen, founder of the Saleen Autosport, announced the birth of another brand, the SMS Limited. Apparently this launch of the new brand gives Mr Saleen plenty of joy because SMS enables him to use the freedom along with technology in order to develop world world-class specialty vehicles. The SMS brand will develop ultra high performance vehicles addresed to the new American Mucle Cars.
