K1 Roadster - new supercar in the house

K1 Roadster is the first supercar built in Slovakia. It has already entered production (around 30-40 units a year) and will be sold all over the Europe. The new model has incredible sporty capabilities and can be transformed in both coupe-targa and convertible due to a very ingenious removable top. K1 is powered by a 3.0 liters V6 engine that delivers 242 hp and a peak torque of 300 Nm, but the company is also offering the possibility to increase the output to 320 hp. K1 Roadster makes (...)

60 years ago today, a motoring icon made its public debut, when the original Land Rover was shown at a motor show in Amsterdam, on April 30, 1948. The current Defender is clearly descended from that first vehicle, now known as a Series 1. Brabus releases ECO PowerXtra kit for diesel engines


Beside the R230 body kit for the Mercedes SL, Brabus released also the ECO PowerXtra kit for the Mercedes CDI diesel engines. The kit increase the engine power up to 53 hp, add torque up to 100Nm and can be installed in vehicles which meet the Euro 4 emission limits. All the Brabus ECO PowerXtra kits have up to three years qarranty or 100,000 kilometers. Press release after the jump! Fiat’s next project: Topolino!

Comebacks have a real success on the market. Or at least they do for Fiat; the 500 is the latest proof. But the Italian company will not stop here. They also want to re-build the Topolino, a model first unveiled in 1938. The new Topolino will be built in the former Zastava plant in Serbia. Based on the A-platform used by the 500 and Panda minicars but shortened to 3150mm in length, the new Topolino will seat four people and debut late next year. What you see in the photos is called Obsidian CoupeR and represents at this moment the ultimate tuning programme for the Ford Mustang. The CoupeR is powered by a 6.4 liter V8 hand-built engine delivering 800hp on standard pump gas and over 1000hp on more exotic fuel. The sprint from 0-100 km/h is made in less than 4 seconds while the top speed limited to 250 km/h due to the safety of the passengers. Future Audi A1 close to being official?

Why are we saying this? Because the latest rendering come from AutoBild, and as you know they have always been very close to the reality! Built as a replacement for the unsuccessful A2, the future A1 will go on sale byt the end of 2009. First unveiled as the Metroproject Quattro concept in 2007, the future A1 will be serious competition for Mini. Even if the Metroproject was supposed to be a preview of the A1, Audi will not keep the design idea though as it was was disliked internally, (...)
