Toyota has sold 1,028,000 Prius hybrids in the past decade. Sales have gone through the roof as gas prices reach record levels, and Toyota can't keep up with demand. Supplies are dwindling and prices are climbing.

Noble M600 Prototype Z1 ready to be announced

In a recent interview with Piston Heads, the company's new boss Peter Boutwood announced that the launch of the new M600 is near by. The car will be conceptually similar to a Ferrari F40 and will be limited to only 40 unit a year. The car is currently under testings and development programme. The M600 is to be announced, but this will not happen before it has been completely and thoroughly tested. It will however be a carbon fibre body shell, twin turbo V8 powered, with a six speed (...)

Porsche says NO to U.S. Cayenne production

Two days ago we were saying that Volkswagen could build Porsche's Cayenne SUV at its new U.S. plant that will be opened in 2010. But today Porsche denied those rumors and said it does not need to build its Cayenne SUV in North America and has no plans to do so. Porsche spokesman Albrecht Bamler said it would not make sense to build the Cayenne in the U.S. because suppliers that provide components for the SUV are in Europe.
