Veritas RS III

Here's what we saw the latest days testing at Nurburgring: the latest project from Veritas, RS III. It will be limited to only 50 vehicles per year, with first deliveries expected to begin at the end of 2008. The one-seater sport roadster is based on a monocoque frame while its body is made entirely from carbon-kevlar. Power comes from a supped up BMW M5 5.0-liter V10 engine that develops 600 Hp. Tipping the scale at 1,070 kg or 2,360 lbs, the RS III can go from zero to 100 km/h or 62 (...)

New Saab 9-5 to be unveiled at the 2009 Geneva Show

Saab announced that the next generation 9-5 will be unveiled next year at the Geneva Motor Show. The cars were presented last in the GMNext conference were almost 6000 people joined. Unfortunately the 9-5's weren't real cars but dummies without engines and real suspension, so the cars had to be pulled in with ropes. Next to it GM also presented the new 9-4x, the final version (even better looking than the concept, more European) and a 9-3 CrossRoad kind of car, something like the Audi A6 (...)

You know already that Lexus is working on a new hybrid model built on the same platform as the Toyota Prius. Internally known as the 812L, the future Lexus will be launched in late 2009. What you don't know is that the company is also working on a new dedicated gas-electric CUV. The next-generation Prius, which is slated to go into production in Japan in less than a year, is expected to make its world debut in January at the 2009 Detroit Auto Show.
